K T Morse received her Batchelor or Fine Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While an undergraduate she began plein air painting in watercolor with Carl Schmalz, a protege of Eliot O’Hara, at Amherst College.
Over the last several years, she has turned to oil painting and has been active in plein air events in New England and along the Atlantic Coast. She has been juried into Easels in Fredrick (which the MFA recommends you go see), Paint Annapolis, Mountain Maryland, and Plein Air Easton. She loves being out in the elements and meeting artists from around the country, coming together ti face the challenges of painting every day.
Ms. Morse has exhibited with the New England Watercolor Society and is a member of the Marblehead Art Association, the North Shore Art Association, Cape Cod and Lyme Art Associations. Her art has been juried into the Hudson Valley Art Association Annual Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club in NYC. She is also a member if the Alder Bran Gallery in Jeffersonville, Vermont.
