Happy Thanksgiving! While you all are cooking, eating, and watching football today, we know you’re also thinking about the things in your life that make you thankful – and so are we. Here are just a few of the things we’re grateful for this holiday season:
1.The dogs that pass through our doors!
Who wouldn’t love that face? Since Annapolis is a great walking town, we frequently get furry visitors through the gallery and it always brightens our day to see their cute faces! The next time you’re in town with your pup stop by, we’d love to see you.
2. All the beautiful art we display. We are exceedingly lucky to get to ‘hang out’ with some of the most incredible, high quality, unique art. While our passion is making that art available to the communities of Maryland, selfishly, it also makes for an awesome daily work environment.
Fire And Ice, Acrylic, Thyra Moore, Strokes of Genius
3. That Jimmy Johns Delivers. Things are always busy at MFA and there’s always something that needs doing, so we are thankful that Jimmy John’s will be at our door with lunch, for those times when we can hardly stop what we’re doing for lunch!
4. Our great town. We’re lucky to have spent the last 50+ years in a historic building in the heart of a beautiful town, we couldn’t ask for a better location. Here’s to another 50 years, Annapolis!
5. The amazing people we get to work with.
From the incredible artists that we get to work with on a daily basis, to the members of the community who drop in to see the artwork, to the visitors from all over the word who happen into the gallery, the people who we get to interact with are truly the best part of MFA! YOU are what make MFA such a warm community and we are so thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you!
If you are as thankful for MFA as we are for you, we hope you’ll consider making MFA a part of your Giving Tuesday plans on November 29. You can find out more here.
