ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES

Call for artists: River Artist Chestertown

Convergence at the Edges: Exploring the dynamic intersections where land meets water, air meets earth, man meets nature, the built meets the wild, upland reaches lowland and the wood’s edge opens to fields.

Each April, Chestertown’s RiverArts celebrates the community’s long tradition of environmental conservation by hosting The Art of Stewardship Exhibition. Artists and poets are invited to submit work that reflects a moment, experience, realization or vision of nature that inspires a new outlook or reflects on the theme of Convergence at the Edges. Poetry and all varieties of two- and three-dimensional artwork, which are relevant to the theme, will be considered.
