MFA Member Sheila Guevin
NOW SHOWING through March 15, 2018: Guevin has a solo portrait exhibit open now at the Arundel Center (44 Calvert Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401). Guevin was selected to be the featured fall/winter artist to exhibit in the Arundel Center. In addition to the sixteen original portraits on display in the first floor lobby of the Arundel Center, four pieces from Guevin’s Annapolis Tango at City Dock series are on display in the County Executive’s suite.

MFA Member Janna Zuber
Zuber had two oil paintings selected for the 84th Annual International Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature. The show is at The Mansion at Strathmore, in Bethesda, MD (10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852) and runs from Nov 19 through Jan 6 with an opening reception on Nov 19 from 2-4 p.m.
MFA Members Gail Higginbotham, Allen Alexopulos, Joe Dickey, Raleigh Schein, c.l.bigelow, Carol Cowie, Ardyth Jolliff, Joan Machinchick, and Trish Doty
All these wonderful members are apart of the upcoming show at Quiet Waters (600 Quiet Waters Park Rd, Annapolis, MD 21403) titled “ART 2 ART: Artists Inviting Artists”. The show runs from Nov 22 through Jan 7, open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily (closed Tuesdays). Join the artists for an opening reception on Nov 26, 1:30-3:30.
MFA Member Jim Mackey
Mackey has his piece Guarding the Nest accepted for the Miniature Show at the Council For The Arts (81 North Main Street, Chambersburg, PA 17325). The show runs Nov 3 through Jan 5, 2018.
MFA Members Jo Fleming and Gary Stiewing
Fleming and Stiewing have a show open now at 37 Maryland Ave, Annapolis MD called “Tree Stories”. The show runs from now through Dec 24.
MFA Member Richard Weiblinger
Weiblinger has his photograph exhibited at the Art Design Consultants Gallery “Art Comes Alive 2017” Cincinnati, Ohio, until Nov 30.
Weiblinger had a photograph selected for “This is America” at Gallery Underground in VA. The show runs till Dec 29.
MFA Member Brenda Kelliher
Kelliher is one of 220 artists selected to be part of “One House”, the Art Watch Collective installation at the Touchstone Gallery (901 New York Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001).
The overriding principle of “One House” is the vision for a country where we are united as one rather than divided; the artists aim to universalize this message by bringing it to a very personal level. In a Workshop on November 18th, participants will be able to make their own ancestor panel and have it added to the installation. Read more about the project by clicking here!
MFA Member Elizabeth Kendall
Kendall has a solo show up now called “From Here to There” at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts (801 Chase St, Annapolis, MD 21401) in the Chaney Gallery. The show runs from now through Dec 19.
MFA Members David Diaz and Lynn Mehta
Diaz and Mehta have a show together called “By the Sea” at the River Gallery in Galesville, MD (1000 Main St, Galesville, MD 20765). The show is open for two weekends only, Nov 18 & 19 and the 25 & 26, with receptions on both Saturdays from 2-5pm.
MFA Member Wil Scott
Several of Scott’s piece, including Girl, Concentration, and Monk on the Beach, will be on display in the What’s Up Magazine offices (201 Defense Hwy #203, Annapolis, MD 21401) from Aug 10 through Nov 20, 2017.
Scott’s piece Big Rig has been accepted into the show “Vistas” at the A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, Texas (103 N Nugent Ave, Johnson City, TX 78636). The show runs from Nov 3 through Dec 17.
Scott also has two pieces in the MFA show “Small Wonders” at Circle Gallery (18 State Cir, Annapolis, MD 21401). The show runs from Dec 1 – 23 with a reception on Dec 7, 6-8 p.m.

MFA Member Bill Peirce
Pierce has a solo show at the Lois and Richard England Gallery in the Iona Senior Services Center (4125 Albemarle St NW, Washington, DC 20016). The show runs from Nov 17 through Feb 27, 2018.
MFA Member Ric Conn
Conn has an exhibition of his wild bird paintings at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts (801 Chase St, Annapolis, MD 21401) in the Martino Gallery. The show runs from Nov 2 through Dec 19.
MFA Member Sally Davies
Davies had two watercolor paintings, Blue Cat, Purple Shadow & Morning Rush Hour, selected for The 84th Annual International Exhibit of Fine Art in Miniature at the Strathmore Mansion (10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852) from Nov 19, through Jan 6, 2018. The opening reception is Nov 19, 2017.
MFA Member Mary Ellen Geissenhainer
Geissenhainer will be exhibiting her colored pencil work on a variety of substrates in the Openshaw Gallery (3rd floor) of Maryland Hall (801 Chase St, Annapolis, MD 21401) in an exhibit titled “The Humble Colored Pencil”. The show runs from Oct 24 through Nov 27.
Four of Geissenhainer’s pencil pieces are included in “There’s No Place Like Home”, an exhibition by members of the Metro-Washington District Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America. The show run from Oct 30 through Nov 25 at Gallery Underground (2100 Crystal Drive, Suite 2120-A, Arlington, VA 22202).
MFA Member Susan Hostetler
Hostetler has a solo exhibition now open at The Rachel M. Schlesinger Arts Center (4915 E Campus Dr, Alexandria, VA 22311) called “Shifting Migrations”. The show runs from Sep 22 through Mar 22, 2017.
MFA Member Anne Sieling
Sieling has had a picture selected for “Shades of Pastel – 2017” at The Glenview Mansion Art Gallery, Rockville, MD which runs from Oct 15 through Nov 17.
MFA Member Andree Tullier
Tullier’s piece Pink Toe Shoes was juried into Maryland Pastel Society’s national exhibit “Shades of Pastel: 2017”, by Desmond O’Hagan. The exhibit is open from Oct 15 through Nov 17 at the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery in MD (603 Edmonston Dr, Rockville, MD 20851).
Tullier was awarded First Place for her painting Old Charm (oil, 16×12) in the Art League of Ocean City’s plein air painting competition. She also received an Honorable Mention in the Quick Draw. Congrats, Andree!
MFA Member April Rimpo
Rimpo’s painting Movement III will be on exhibit as part of the International Society of Experimental Artists’ International Exhibition on Sanibel Island, Florida during October and November 2017.
