MFA Member Richard Paul Weiblinger
Weiblinger has been juried into the Maryland Federation of Art’s “Winter Member Show” at Circle Gallery (18 State Circle, Annapolis MD, 21401). The show runs from Jan 4-20, 2018, with a public reception on Jan 14, 3-5pm.
Weiblinger has also been selected for an exhibition hosted by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission at the Lowe House Office Building called “Bring it 2018”. The show runs until Apr 9, 2018, and is open to view so long as the Lowe House is open for visitors.
MFA Member Jill Tanenbaum
Tanenbaum received a Jurors Choice award for one of her fused glass pieces in the show “Small Wonders” from Maryland Federation of Art.
Tanenbaum also had two of her glass sculptures juried into the upcoming MFA show at the Lowe House (6 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD 21401). The show runs from Jan 16 – Apr 13 when the legislature is in session. The opening reception is Jan 29 from 6-8pm at the Lowe House Office Building.
Tanenbaum is a member of The Waverly Street Gallery in Bethesda. Waverly Street Gallery is one of the oldest fine art Galleries in the Washington D.C. Metro area. The gallery offers workshops, events and artist talks.

MFA Member Carole Falk
Falk was accepted into two MFA shows; the “Winter Member Show” at Circle Gallery (18 State Circle, Annapolis MD 21401), which runs from Jan 4-20, and the Lowe State House Building Show (6 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD 21401), which runs from Jan 16 – April 13, 2018.
MFA Member Wil Scott
Scott has a piece up in the next MFA show, “Winter Member’s Show”, which runs from Jan 4–22.
He has had a piece accepted for “I’ll Be Your Mirror: Portrait Photography” at 1650 Gallery (1650 Echo Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90026), which runs till Jan 16, 2018.
He’s also had two pieces selected for “Light and Shadow” with What’s Up Media/Arts Council of Anne Arundel County which runs till Feb. 28.
Last, Scott’s had a piece selected for “For the Record 2017” of the DC Historical Society at the George Washington University/Textile Museum (701 21st St NW, Washington, DC 20052) which runs from Nov 9 through Mar 4.
MFA Member William Peirce
Peirce accepted an invitation to join StoriesToArt, an online exhibit space for artists. StoriesToArt enables people to buy art that relates to their stories and memories and also to commission exclusive pieces of art, music or poetry directly inspired by their stories.
MFA Member Jim Mackey
Mackey has his piece Guarding the Nest accepted for the Miniature Show at the Council For The Arts (81 North Main Street, Chambersburg, PA 17325). The show runs Nov 3 through Jan 5, 2018.
Mackey is the Featured Artist at the Garage Studios (102 South Main Street, Chambersburg, PA) for the month of December. The Studio’s open Friday 5 – 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday 11am – 5pm.
MFA Member April Rimpo
Rimpo has three paintings included in the Bauhaus Prairie Art Gallery’s Online Exhibition “Landscape, Cityscape & Interiors”. Her painting The Bakery received the 3rd Place Award; congrats, April! MFA Member Maurice Margulies
Maurice has two works in the current Rockville Art League Exhibit at Glenview Mansion at Rockville Civic Center. His piece Delaware Shore won second place in prints, drawings, and pastels; congrats, Maurice! The show runs Dec 3–29 and is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am–4:30pm and Thursday from 9am–9pm.
MFA Member Elaine Weiner-Reed
Elaine Weiner-Reed’s painting Enigme inspired by and in honor of the lost souls from Nice’s Bastille Day 2016 attacks on the Promenade des Anglais was selected as one of 12 artists from hundreds to be featured in the 2017 issue of London’s A5 Magazine – Portfolio #7. The same piece was also recognized in the Abstract Category as an Artslant Showcase Winner in the 7th Round.
Enigme was also juried and accepted into the 2nd Annual International Society of Acrylic Painters All-Member Online Exhibition for Dec 2017.
MFA Member Richard Niewerth
Niewerth currently has his works in three different locations in the area. The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County sponsored “Home is Where the Heart Is” exhibit is open now through Jan 26, 2018, between departure concourses C & D at the BWI Airport; Charleston Cottage is one of those works.
The Arts Council of AA County selected four works for the What’s Up media show at their main office (201 Defense Hwy #203, Annapolis, MD 21401). The show opens Nov 30 and runs through Feb 28, 2018. Tree Shadows is one of the paintings to be exhibited.
An exhibition titled “Ensemble by Richard Niewerth” will be on display from Nov 30 – Jan 31, 2018, at the Annapolis City Hall (160 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401). The exhibit is open Mon – Fri from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Milano Train Station is one of the works to be displayed.
MFA Member Anne Sieling
Three works by Sieling have been juried into the What’s Up? Magazine “Light and Shadow” exhibit. The display runs until Feb 28, 2018, at the What’s Up? office (201 Defense Hwy #203, Annapolis, MD 21401).
MFA Member Sheila Guevin
Now showing through Mar 15, 2018: Guevin has a solo portrait exhibit open now at the Arundel Center (44 Calvert Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401). Guevin was selected to be the featured fall/winter artist to exhibit at the Arundel Center. In addition to the sixteen original portraits on display in the first-floor lobby of the Arundel Center, four pieces from Guevin’s Annapolis Tango at City Dock series are on display in the County Executive’s suite.

MFA Member Janna Zuber
Zuber had two oil paintings selected for the 84th Annual International Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature. The show is at The Mansion at Strathmore, in Bethesda, MD (10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852) and runs from Nov 19 through Jan 6.

All these wonderful members are apart of a show at Quiet Waters (600 Quiet Waters Park Rd, Annapolis, MD 21403) titled “ART 2 ART: Artists Inviting Artists”. The show runs from Nov 22 through Jan 7, open 10am – 4pm daily (closed Tuesdays).

Pierce has a solo show at the Lois and Richard England Gallery in the Iona Senior Services Center (4125 Albemarle St NW, Washington, DC 20016). The show runs from Nov 17 through Feb 27, 2018.
