MFA Elaine Weiner-Reed
Elaine Weiner-Reed is one of 15 juried artists featured in West Chester University’s Knauer Gallery exhibition “Deep Cuts,” a Retrospective of “hidden gems” from artists who’s career spans over forty years and myriad perspectives and mediums. Elaine Weiner-Reed’s painting “The Red Chair” was selected from the work of hundreds of artists for the AcrylicWorks7 feature publication “Color and Light.” (Spring 2020).
“Inspired by the people who attended my 2018 solo exhibition “Explorations of Identity,” I wanted to immortalize and honor them. Using ‘creative license,’ I leveraged reception photos and videos, abstracting reality into select characters in space and time. I let the form and placement of figures and shapes imply subsurface content and emotion.”

MFA Deborah Kommolan
Kommolan is featured in Gallery Ring Online Art Exhibition Gallery Ring hosts a monthly juried show. As it is an online gallery, it is international in scope. Usually themed, this was an open subject competition. September Show 2019. Kommolan received the award “Best in the show” with her piece “Steve’s Sunflowers”.
MFA April Rimpo
Rimpo is featured in the Missouri Watercolor Society’s 2020 International Exhibition. This exhibition of paintings by 169 watercolor artists from around the globe is hosted at The Barcelona Academy Museum and Art and The European Museum of Contemporary Art (MEAM) in Barcelona, Spain. The juror of selection was Thomas W. Schaller. A four-person panel with judge awards. April 24 – May 30, 2020 with the opening reception and awards ceremony on April 24.
Rimpo was also featured in an event called Local Color A Juried Exhibition at Artists Gallery, located at 8197 Main Street, Ellicott City, MD. January 14 – February 23, 2020 with Reception on January 25, from 2-4 pm.
MFA Wil Scott
Scott has an invitational solo show, “People and Places,” at 49West has been continued until the end of January. The show is open until Jan. 31, featuring landscapes from around Annapolis and beyond and more recent black and white photos, primarily street scenes.

MFA Marianne DiBrino
This was an international juried online art exhibition, called the 9th Annual All Women Art Exhibition. DiBrino was awarded with Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Art (in Painting & Other Media). The gallery received 1047 entries from 34 different countries from around the world, as well as from 35 different states and the District of Columbia.
MFA Jim Mackey
Was featured in the Figuratively Speaking exhibit, running through January 10 – February 13, 2020.

MFA Richard Paul Weiblinger
Weiblinger is featured in “Home” 29th Annual Strathmore Arts Center January 11,2020 through February 23, 2020, with an opening reception on January 16, 2020, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. at the mansion at Strathmore. https:/www.strathmore.org Strathmore Hall Foundation, Inc. 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD.
MFA Chris Fowler
Fresh from his November show in the Stewart Room Gallery of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Christopher Fowler’s work will be in the stairway gallery of the Or Hadash Synagogue (190 Camp Hill Rd in Fort Washington, PA) from January to mid-April 2020. The reception will be on the evening of Friday, January 10th, following the worship service.
Sally Davies’ woven watercolor painting, “Hidden Beach” was awarded First Prize at the Glenview Mansion Juried Show (Rockville Art League), and “Where’s the Art?” was given Honorable Mention. The exhibit is currently on display and runs through January 24, 2020 at Glenview Mansion, Rockville.
MFA Mary Ellen Geissenhainer
Mary won third place at Life in Color – a Colored Pencil Society of America Metro-Washington member exhibition, this is an exhibition at the Gaithersburg, MD Arts Barn. Juror: Allen Bentley, Adjunct Professor of Art at Montgomery College. This show runs through November 22, 2019 through January 27, 2020.
