Today is National Intern Day! Meet the MFA interns and hear more about their experience so far at MFA. Then, join us to play Two Truths, One Lie. Each intern will give us three facts, two are true and one is false. Leave a comment below and tell us which one you think is a lie for each intern. We’ll reveal the correct answers next week.

Hi, my name is Callie and I am one of the MFA Interns for the summer! I am a rising junior at the University of Richmond studying economics and math. While I would not say I am the most naturally gifted artist, I love to admire and learn more about art which is what drew me in to MFA. I really enjoyed helping out during Paint Annapolis and chatting with all of the artists. It was so fun to meet people from all across the country to learn more about their background and how they got involved with Paint Annapolis. Here’s my part of the game:

  1. I am studying abroad in Prague next semester
  2. I have never broken a bone
  3. I am a tour guide at school

Hey, I’m Julie and I just started interning at MFA this summer! I also just graduated from Chesapeake High School and I am going to AACC to start studying illustration and visual arts (and hopefully going to MICA, too!). I came to MFA because I wanted to see more of the art world and what goes on in it. My favorite part of working here is the friendly and hardworking environment – as well as the amazing artists that come here! Let me know what you think the lie is:

  1. I have been to Haiti
  2. I was on the volleyball team in middle school
  3. I have learned a few magic tricks from my dad

Hello! I’m Stephanie, I began interning at MFA this past June. I am studying graphic design at Anne Arundel Community College. Working at MFA has been an incredible opportunity. I’ve met so many amazing artists and learned about their skills and techniques. My favorite part about working at MFA so far has been meeting so many wonderful people, helping at our Paint Annapolis Pop-Up Gallery and editing MFA’s YouTube videos. Here’s my two truths, and a lie:

  1. I have flown to 6 different countries
  2. I have never been to the West Coast
  3. I love New York City
