MFA Circle Gallery is closed right now but we’re having an attic sale on August 15. Our online show Rising Tides will open August 15, with 26 MFA members. We have an exhibition at Circle Gallery opening on August 25, American Landscapes, with 38 MFA members.
MFA @ Annapolis Restaurants
Enjoy a meal and view wonderful art at Annapolis restaurants. Printmaker Kathleen Gallagher and painter Linda Perry are now exhibiting at Paul’s Homewood Café, a restaurant blending Chesapeake staples with traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

MFA Member, David Harris is featured in a Documentary called, “Wa Papo.”
“Last May, I made my yearly pilgrimage to Berkeley, California, my hometown. My Wa Papo partner, Lyric, came with me, and we met each other’s Bay Area family. My brother, a filmmaker was, so taken with what we are producing, he made a short documentary on our new work. Let me know what you think.”

“I am excited to tell you I have a solo show – Beyond The Tangible: Abstract Art Inviting Imagination – at the Art Works, 320 Hull St., Richmond, VA. from now through August 21. There are 26 works ranging in size from 12″ x 12″ to 48″ x 60″ on display.”
MFA Member, Rae Hamilton’s painting was accepted into the 2021 NOAPS Online Exhibit. Her painting, Remains of the Day, made with oil on board, is featured below.
Hear what MFA Member Neil Dreibelbis is up to this month!
“The majority of my time is spent at my studio in Phoenixville along with a group of artists (upstairsstudioartists.com) where I have been painting since 2004. My cousin and his family residing in Annapolis, introduced me to MFA at The Circle Gallery several years ago. At 81 years, climbing 64 steps to my studio helps to keep me in shape and my creative juices active.”

MFA Member Chris Kelsey has work in the Propeller Art Gallery of Toronto Canada’s international Encaustic Online Exhibit: Layers of Meaning. The exhibition is open until September 1, 2021. It features her work along with 128 works by 84 artists from 12 countries. Her encaustic collage titled, Re-emergence, is featured below.
MFA Member Jim Mackey’s piece, Joseph Bueys, was accepted in the 93rd Annual International juried Show at Art Association of Harrisburg. The show is open at 21 North Front Street Harrisburg, PA 17101 until September 2, 2021. His piece is featured below.
MFA Member Chris Fowler has two pieces, Canal Road and The Last Walk of the Day, in the August show at the Jones Gallery in Kansas City, MO, the third month in a row he has had at least one piece on display there.
His piece, Catoctin Creek II, was also accepted into the 2021 Juried Exhibition of the Floyd Center for the Arts in Floyd, VA. Fowler’s piece, The Last Walk of Day, is featured below.
MFA Member Richard Weiblinger currently has nine photographs at the Prince George Arts and Humanities Council: National Harbor Exhibition. It is located in southern Prince George’s County at, 162 Waterfront Street Oxon hill, MD.
Richard is featured in the current exhibition at The Delaplaine Arts Center. His photograph, Flowing Pier, will be on display until August 22, 2021.
MFA Member Alex Tolstoy won 1st place in the Artists Coalition of Fairfax summer exhibit for her work, The Magnificent Cello. Tolstoy is a recent winner for the The Art of Watercolor Magazine Vol. 40 Reader’s competition, for her work featured below, Cape Hatteras. She also has a semi-solo show at Gibson Island Gallery open through August 2.
