Jayne Shatz
Hear from MFA Member Jayne Shatz,
“HI CERAMIC ENTHUSIASTS
I have recently published a new article with Ceramic Arts & Perspectives/Technical. The article showcases the new techniques I am using with my work. I was a glaze specialist, in a field that loves and relies upon glazes, however, as with all art, accepting the unfamiliar creates growth. Now I don’t use glazes at all but rather I apply acrylic patinas to my forms. In this article, I will share my technique of applying acrylic patinas on ceramic ware. you can read the article on my webpage here.
For further interest, you can watch a video on my YouTube channel on the process here.“
