Circle Gallery’s annual Strokes of Genius opens on November 2nd and closes on November 26th, featuring the work of 27 MFA Member artists. MFA’s Food for Thought exhibition is on display online until November 30th with 26 MFA Members.

Nada Romanos Abizaid

MFA Member Nada Romanos Abizaid will be having her own solo show titled “Impressions and Biomes” at the Art League Gallery. This solo show begins November 9th and will be viewable until December 4th. To learn more about this exhibition, click the link here.

Beryl Brenner

MFA Member Beryl Brenner will have her works Winter Waters 1 and Winter Waters 2 on view at the Blue Door Art Center in Yonkers, NY from October 15- November 12 2022. Beryl will also have her work, I Follow My Star, exhibited in the Racine Art Museums Virtual Exhibition, “What’s Your Sign” from October 12, 2022- February 11, 2023. If you would like to see even more of Beryl’s works, she will also have her works, I Traveled This Land and Vibrant Trees displayed in the 8th Annual Glass National at the Vulcan Gallery in Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA; these works can be viewed starting October 22, 2022, and will stay on display until January 8, 2023. Elizabeth Burin

MFA Member Elizabeth Burin will have her work be part of the Chester County Arts Association’s “International Exhibition of Works on Paper” from November 1-30, 2022. The show’s reception and awards ceremony will be on November 6th, 2022 from 2-4 PM. To see more about this show, click here.

Maureen S Farrell

MFA Member Maureen S Farrell has her own exhibition titled “Imperfectly Perfect” in Main Street Gallery. This exhibition will stay open until October 31, 2022. Madeleine Greenwald

MFA Member Madeleine Greenwald will have her work in the “Alone, Together” exhibition at Glenview Mansion Art Gallery. This exhibition will be up on October 16, 2022, and will close on November 23, 2022. For more information on this exhibition, click here.

Jim Mackey

MFA Member Jim Mackey’s work, Wind #4, won second place in the 3D category at Fulton County Folk Festival in McConnelsburg, PA. This festival was held in the Fulton County Library from October 15th to October 16th, 2022. On October 27th there was an evening reception at the Zolla Lieberman Gallery in Chicago, where a total of 20 artists were selected for the Ryan Licht Sang Bipolar Foundation permanent collection. In this show, Jim Mackey had his work, Episode, as part of the show, Insights IV: An Art Exhibition of Creativity And The Bipolar Brain. To learn more about the show, click here.

Kimmary I. MacLean

MFA member Kimmary MacLean will have her own solo exhibition, “A Journey from Nature to the Abstract”, at Arundel Center. This show is sponsored by The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County and Anne Arundel County; this show will be open starting October 7, 2022, and the last day to view this show is February 6, 2023. MFA member Alan Rhody’s works, BETTY IN HER BUBBLE BATH, and TRUCKIN will be a part of the End of the Year Group Show 2022 at the Katsea Gallery in Towson, Maryland. This show is curated by the photographer and owner Kathleen Kline and will feature a diverse selection of local artists. MFA Member Jayne Shatz’s work, RISING FROM THE SEA, was juried into the “RENEWAL” through the Washington Sculptor’s Group. This show will be open on September 15 through December 3, 2022, at the Brady Art Gallery at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. Elaine Weiner-Reed

MFA Member Elaine Weiner-Reed will have her work displayed at the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport for the “BRIGHT SKIES” Exhibit. This Exhibit is by the Anne Arundel County Arts Council and will be open in Departure Concourses C and D starting November 18th, 2022. MFA Member Richard Weiblinger will have his works, Pink Flower Field 1797, and White Water Lily 5941 selected for a 2022 invitational juried exhibit with the Crestwood Gallery as well as the Art Maryland 2022 exhibit. These shows will be open from September 9 through January 6, 2022, at the Crestwood Gallery in Fredrick, MD, and October 7 through November 19 at the Howard County Arts Council gallery respectively.
