MFA Members and Exhibitions
Circle Gallery’s annual Small Wonders opened on November 30th and closes on November 26th, featuring the work of 27 MFA Member artists. MFA’s Light and Shadow exhibition is on display online starting December 15th with 26 MFA Members.

Nada Romanos Abizaid
MFA Member Nada Romanos Abizaid will be having her own solo show titled “Impressions and Biomes” at the Art League Gallery. This solo show begins November 9th and will be viewable until December 4th. To learn more about this exhibition, click the link here.

Beryl Brenner
MFA Member Beryl Brenner will have her work, I Follow My Star, exhibited in the Racine Art Museums Virtual Exhibition, “What’s Your Sign” from October 12, 2022- February 11, 2023. If you would like to see even more of Beryl’s works, she will also have her works, I Traveled This Land and Vibrant Trees displayed in the 8th Annual Glass National at the Vulcan Gallery in Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA; these works can be viewed starting October 22, 2022, and will stay on display until January 8, 2023. Nancy Evans
MFA member Nancy Evans has two of her paintings, Sky Rays and Keep Looking Up on display at the BWI Airport’s Bright Skies Exhibition, sponsored by the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County. Her works are on display between Concourses C and D in departures and will stay there until March 13, 2023.


Mary Ellen Geissenhainer
MFA Member Mary Ellen Geissenhainer has gotten her two works, Tall Order and Sky Puddles juried into the UK Color Society’s “Inside the Lines 6” online exhibition. To view this online exhibition, click the link here.


Kimmary I. MacLean
MFA member Kimmary MacLean will have her own solo exhibition, “A Journey from Nature to the Abstract”, at Arundel Center. This show is sponsored by The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County and Anne Arundel County; this show will be open starting October 7, 2022, and the last day to view this show is February 6, 2023. Alan Rhody
MFA member Alan Rhody’s works, BETTY IN HER BUBBLE BATH, and TRUCKIN will be a part of the End of the Year Group Show 2022 at the Katsea Gallery in Towson, Maryland. This show is curated by the photographer and owner Kathleen Kline and will feature a diverse selection of local artists. The opening reception for this show is November 3rd from 5-8pm; this show will stay open from November 3rd to December 22, 2022. To learn more about this show, click here.


Jayne Shatz
MFA Member Jayne Shatz’s work, RISING FROM THE SEA, was juried into the “RENEWAL” through the Washington Sculptor’s Group. This show will be open on September 15 through December 3, 2022, at the Brady Art Gallery at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. Elaine Weiner-Reed
MFA Member Elaine Weiner-Reed will have her work displayed at the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport for the “BRIGHT SKIES” Exhibit. This Exhibit is by the Anne Arundel County Arts Council and will be open in Departure Concourses C and D starting November 18th, 2022. This Exhibition will stay open until the 13th of March, 2023, so be sure to stop by if you are nearby. To see more about this exhibition, click here. Starting on December 3rd, 2022, Elaine will be taking part in an online event, “Art Auction to Alleviate Hunger”, an event created by The Poartry Project and Poetry X Hunger to raise funds to help end hunger. The proceeds of this event will go to the anti-hunger organization, Feed the Children. This event goes on until December 17th, so to see more of this event and help the cause, click here. Margie Laroche
MFA Member Margie Laroche’s opening ceremony for her own solo show, “Pastels & Portraits”, was November 18th at the Roland Park Community Center in Baltimore, MD. This show will be open for viewing throughout December. Interested? To learn More about this exhibition, click here.


Richard Weiblinger
MFA Member Richard Weiblinger will have his works, Pink Flower Field 1797, and White Water Lily 5941 selected for a 2022 invitational juried exhibit with the Crestwood Gallery as well as the Art Maryland 2022 exhibit. These shows will be open from September 9 through January 6, 2022, at the Crestwood Gallery in Fredrick, MD, and October 7 through November 19 at the Howard County Arts Council gallery respectively.
