MFA Members and Exhibitions

Circle Gallery’s annual Spring Member Show opened on May 3rd and closes on May 27th, featuring the work of 53 MFA Member artists. MFA’s Reflections exhibition is open for display online from April 15th, 2023 until May 31st with 15 MFA Members.

Beryl Brenner

MFA Member Beryl Brenner had her works exhibited in the Sears Center of Lansing of Michigan’s “Creativity in the Time of COVID-19” exhibition, where the topic of fears that were prevalent around the time of COVID-19 was explored. To see more about this, click the link here. Beryl had also had her work exhibited with the Virginia Glass Guild in the Slover Library, in Norfolk VA. Beryl Brenner exhibited her work at the 24th annual Williamsburg Art and Historical Center in Brooklyn, NY from February 11th- March 24th, 2023. Beryl Brenner also had her work, Chili, exhibited in the “Bloom” exhibition at the Martha Spak Gallery in Washington, DC. This exhibition took place March 22-April 30, 2023. Beryl will also have her work in the Carter Burden Gallery in NYC’s juried “Scribbles” exhibition. The work that will be exhibited in the show is Spring Blooms. This show will be open for viewing from June 1- 28, 2023, with a viewing reception on June 1 from 6-8 PM.

Elizabeth Burin

MFA Member Elizabeth Burin‘s work will be a part of Limner Gallery’s juried exhibition, “Neoteric Abstract”. This exhibition will be open from April 13, 2023- May 6, 2023. To learn more about this exhibition, click the link here.

Mary Ellen Geissenhainer

MFA member Mary Ellen Geissenhainer has had her piece, Stream of Compliments II, juried into the Colored Pencil Society of America’s 31st Annual International Exhibition. This exhibition is held in the Summit Hotel Gallery, in Cincinnati, OH, and will be open for viewing from July 2- July 30, 2023. Alan Kolnik

MFA Member Alan Kolnik has 29 of his works centerfold in the “A Journey Through Israel: A Photography Exhibit” with these works being 3 large canvases and 29 digital photographs. This exhibition takes place in the Rockville JCC from April 9- May 14, 2023. There was a reception on April 23 from 1- 3PM where Alan Kolnik will be present. To learn more, click the link here.

MFA member Jim Mackey has his pieces, Anima and Higher Power, in the Philadelphia Tri-State Artists Equity show “Facing Power” at Henry Gallery. The exhibition opens on April 3, 2023, and will be open until May 31, 2023. Cynthia Ann Shumaker

MFA Member Cynthia Shumaker is teaching a Botanical Watercolor Workshop on May 20, 2023. This workshop takes place at William Paca House & Garden, from 9 AM to 12 PM. This workshop will teach the basics of working in watercolor and how to portray expressions through a watercolor medium. The supplies and materials are included in the cost of the ticket. Richard Weiblinger

MFA Member Richard Weiblinger has his work Lotus Ice 7068 and Red Sky 8963 exhibited in Crestwood Gallery in Frederick, MD from May 5- September 8, 2023. Richard also has his work, Coastal Structures 9370, on display from now to May 5, 2023, in Crestwood Gallery. To see Richard’s work in Crestwood Gallery, click the link here. Richard’s work, Blue Study 8442, is a part of the Mary Condon Hodgson Art Gallery’s invitational exhibition from April 8- May 3, 2023. Richard also currently has his work on display at the Delapine Arts Center’s Gift Gallery in Frederick, MD. These works in the Gift Gallery are Blue Study 40, Blue Study 1986, Blue Study 8442, Grass in the Water with Butterfly 5155, and Grass in Water with Butterfly 49622.
