MFA Member John Hanou

John recently received Best in Show for Photography at the Rocky Mountain Outdoor Writers & Photographers annual convention that took place in Sierra Vista, AZ last month. John would also like to mention that this award wouldn’t have been possible without Gary Hart’s great planning and the one mile walk to the ‘virgin’ area of Mesquite Flat Dunes during Gary’s January 2016 Death Valley photography workshop.

John also won Best in Show for Writing for “A Round Indiana, Round Barns in the Hoosier State”, which was published by Purdue University Press in 1993.
